POS software for shops in Malaysia
AIFFICIENTO is retail POS and stock software for Malaysian shops, from a kedai runcit on the corner to a multi-branch supermarket. Billing keeps running when the connection drops, and your data stays on the shop's own PC. MyInvois integration is configured on request.

Local from the first bill.
Sell in RM with SST shown on receipts and reports. Tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive pricing are both supported.
Add your SST registration number and business tax ID to receipts and reports. Each label can be named for your shop.
Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay and DuitNow QR can each be a payment type. Reports show every method on its own line.
Give products a second-language name for receipts, for example in Malay, Chinese or Tamil. The software interface is in English.
Retail and wholesale price tiers apply per customer. Bulk buyers pay their wholesale price while walk-in customers pay retail.
Loyalty points can be earned and paid with at the counter. Promotions run by category, brand, product, date range or weekday, including happy hours.
Malaysian retail is a mix. Large supermarkets and hypermarkets sit alongside the kedai runcit, the sundry shop that sells everything from rice and cooking oil to prepaid phone credit. Pasar malam night markets, wet markets and Chinese medicine halls all run on cash, counter ledgers and a lot of personal trust.
Customers pay in cash, card and e-wallets. Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay and DuitNow QR are everyday payment methods, and a shop that does not accept them can lose sales. Many owners also sell to regular customers on account, and they need to know who owes them money at the end of the week.
The pains owners raise most often:
- Stock sits on the shelf with no clear record of sales.
- Wholesale customers pay a different price from walk-in buyers, and the counter gets it wrong.
- Shift totals are unclear until the end of the day.
- Invoices that must go to LHDN get typed in by hand.
AIFFICIENTO covers the counter, the back office and the reports. Retail and wholesale price tiers, promotions and happy hours, and customer credit run in one system. Stock counts, reorder lists and expiry watch help the shop keep fast-moving goods on the shelf.

Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN)
MyInvois e-invoicing (phased) and SST
Malaysia's e-invoicing system is MyInvois, run by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN). It rolls out in phases, and the phase that applies to your business depends on your size and turnover. Businesses that must issue e-invoices send them through MyInvois.
For B2C sales where the buyer does not ask for an invoice, LHDN allows consolidated e-invoices instead of one e-invoice per sale. This has its own timing rule, so check the current LHDN guidance before you set it up.
Sales and Service Tax (SST) applies to certain goods and services. AIFFICIENTO shows SST on sales and can print your SST registration number on receipts and reports. Ask your accountant which items and rates apply to your shop.
MyInvois integration is available on request. Our team configures and tests it for your business and registration. We do not claim certification or approval from LHDN, so confirm the setup and deadlines with LHDN or a registered tax agent before you go live.

Choosing a POS in Malaysia
Malaysian shops can choose between cloud POS from telcos, retail platforms, free government tools for smaller businesses, accounting software with a counter module, and POS sold with hardware bundles. The right pick depends on how you sell.
Test the counter first. Run a full morning on a trial: a queue of walk-in buyers, a wholesale customer on a different price, a discount, a return, and a payment split between cash and an e-wallet. Note how long each step takes.
Then test the tax side. Ask the vendor, in writing, how MyInvois is set up, whether consolidated B2C e-invoices are supported, who configures the connection, and what it costs each month.
Compare the total cost: the subscription per outlet, extra counters, hardware and support. Ask what happens to your data if you stop using the system.
