POS software for shops in Indonesia
AIFFICIENTO is retail POS and stock software for Indonesian shops, from a warung with one till to a multi-branch minimarket group. Selling keeps working when the connection drops, and your data stays on the shop's own PC. e-Faktur integration is configured on request.

Local from the first bill.
Sell in rupiah, with the Rp symbol and PPN shown on receipts and reports. Rupiah amounts run without decimals.
Add your NPWP and other tax ID labels to receipts and reports, using names that match your paperwork.
Each e-wallet or QRIS payment can be its own payment type in split payments, and each shows on its own line in reports.
Give each product a second-language name, such as its Bahasa Indonesia name, for receipts. The software interface is in English.
Barcode billing with USB scanners, quick product tiles, held bills and a quick cash button keep busy counters moving.
Selling continues when the connection drops. Sales wait in a queue and sync automatically when the internet returns.
Indonesian retail is built around the warung, the small family shop that sells cigarettes, drinks, instant noodles and daily needs from the front of the house. Minimarket chains have spread across the cities, and traditional pasar still do most of the fresh food business. Wholesale markets such as Tanah Abang in Jakarta and Pasar Turi in Surabaya draw buyers from across the region.
Most customers still pay in cash, but QRIS, GoPay, OVO and DANA are now common at the counter. A shop that only takes cash can lose the sale of the customer who has no change.
Owners tell us the same things:
- Daily sales are written in a notebook and typed in again later.
- Stock runs out on the best sellers, while slow stock stays on the shelf.
- Cash and sales do not match at the end of the shift.
- Wholesale buyers want their own price and a credit limit.
AIFFICIENTO runs the counter with barcode billing, touch tiles for quick items, held bills and split payments. Shift cash counts, customer credit and reorder lists keep the back office in order. Reports show sales, profit and dead stock, so the owner can decide what to buy next.

Directorate General of Taxes (DJP)
e-Faktur digital tax invoicing and PPN
Indonesia's VAT, called PPN, is administered by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP). Businesses registered as taxable entrepreneurs (PKP) issue tax invoices through the e-Faktur system. Each business has an NPWP, its tax ID, and the rules on which sales must go through e-Faktur depend on the business and the transaction.
Many retail sales to individual buyers do not need a full tax invoice, but the rules depend on your business. Check with your accountant or tax consultant (konsultan pajak) which documents you need for each type of sale, and whether your business must issue e-Faktur.
AIFFICIENTO records PPN on your sales, shows your NPWP on receipts and reports once you add it, and keeps sales records ready for your accountant at month end.
e-Faktur integration is available on request. Our team configures and tests the connection for your registration with DJP. We do not claim approval or certification from DJP, so confirm the setup with your tax consultant before you rely on it.

Choosing a POS in Indonesia
Indonesian shops can choose between cloud POS apps, restaurant-first systems, accounting software with a counter module, and POS sold with hardware bundles. Each one fits a different shop, so test before you buy.
Start with the rush hour. Set up a trial with your real product list, then run a test queue: a cash and QRIS split, a bulk buyer on a wholesale price, a voided item and a return. Time each step.
Test the connection too. During the trial, switch off the internet for ten minutes. Check whether the till keeps selling, and whether the sales queue syncs when the connection returns.
Then ask the tax questions in writing. Which e-Faktur setup do they support? Who configures it? What does it cost each month, and what do you pay for each branch?
