Turkish retail runs on two tracks. Large chains and discount stores run on central systems. Most shops are small: the neighborhood bakkal, the manav selling fruit and vegetables, the kasap, the bakery, the pharmacy and the clothing boutique. Many of these owners do everything at one counter, often with one person on the till.

Weekly pazar stalls add their own rhythm. Customers pay in cash, by card at the terminal, and more and more through wallets and QR. Credit on account, the veresiye notebook, is still common in neighborhood shops. Owners want to know which products sell, which are running out, and who still owes money at the end of the month.

Shops in the big cities also deal with wholesale buying, supplier invoices on paper or PDF, and a growing set of rules for e-invoices and e-archive receipts. The pains owners raise most often:

  • Stock counts that never match the shelf.
  • Supplier bills that get typed in by hand.
  • Card and cash totals that do not match at day close.
  • Internet drops that stop the till.

AIFFICIENTO is built for this counter. Barcode billing, touch tiles for bakery and produce lines, and offline selling keep the queue moving. Customer accounts track veresiye, and reports show daily sales, profit and stock value.

Tax & e-invoicing

Revenue Administration (GİB)

GİB e-Arşiv and e-Fatura digital invoicing

Turkey taxes most sales with KDV (VAT). The invoice rules are run by the Revenue Administration (GİB). Businesses issue e-Arşiv invoices to consumers and e-Fatura invoices to registered businesses, depending on their type and turnover. The rules on who must use which system change over time, so check the current requirements with your accountant or on the GİB portal before you go live.

AIFFICIENTO shows KDV on every receipt and in your reports, so the totals are ready for your accountant at month end.

Integration with GİB e-Arşiv and e-Fatura is available on request. Our team configures and tests the connection for your registration, and we will tell you clearly what your shop needs for it to work. You can ask for it from Settings → Store in the app, using the Request integration button.

Until the integration is live, you can still bill, keep stock and record every sale in AIFFICIENTO. Keep your receipts and invoices for the period your accountant advises.

Choosing a POS in Türkiye

Turkish shops can choose between accounting-first programs, e-invoice integrators, free or basic POS apps, and retail systems sold with their own hardware. Each suits a different shop, so test before you choose.

Start with your daily counter. Run a full day of sales on a trial account: a lunch rush, cash and card together, a return and a discount. Check whether the software keeps selling when the internet drops.

Then check the tax side. Ask the vendor, in writing, which e-Arşiv or e-Fatura setup they support, who configures it, and what it costs. Ask whether it fits the type of shop you run.

Finally, compare the price per counter and per branch, and check what the free trial includes.

How much does AIFFICIENTO cost in Türkiye?
Starter is ₺299 per branch per month, with 1 counter and up to 3 users. Growth is ₺749 per branch per month, with up to 3 counters, unlimited users, promotions and loyalty points. Business is ₺1,499 per branch per month, with unlimited counters, multi-branch use and tax-integration setup. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. Does it work when the internet goes down?
Yes. Selling works offline on the shop network, and sales are saved on the server PC. When the internet returns, queued sales sync automatically. Geto, the built-in AI assistant, needs internet and an AI allowance, so it is the one feature that waits for the connection.
Can I accept Troy and Papara payments?
Yes. Troy, Papara, cash, card, bank transfer and customer credit can all be used in one split payment. Each one can have its own label, so the daily report shows them separately.
Is e-Arşiv and e-Fatura integration included?
Integration with GİB e-Arşiv and e-Fatura is available on request. Our team configures and tests it for your registration. Request it from Settings → Store in the app. Ask us first what your shop needs, because the rules depend on your business type and turnover.
Is AIFFICIENTO certified by GİB?
We do not claim certification or approval from GİB. The integration is set up per shop on request, and our team tests it for your registration. Confirm the current rules with your accountant before you rely on the setup.
Can I bring my product list from Excel?
Yes. Import products from Excel or CSV files and change prices in bulk. Our team can also help move data from spreadsheets or older software.
Can I use Turkish product names?
Yes. Each product can have a second-language name shown on receipts, such as its Turkish name. The software interface is in English.
Can I use a phone app in my shop?
Yes, on Android. Connect by scanning the shop's QR code, then check stock, sales and the dashboard on your phone. An iOS app is planned.
