POS software for shops and supermarkets in Morocco
AIFFICIENTO is an AI-powered retail POS for shops across Morocco, for every size of business from a neighbourhood hanout to a supermarket. Selling keeps working when the connection drops, and your data stays on the shop's own PC. Prices show in dirhams, with Arabic and French item names on receipts.

Local from the first bill.
Prices use the dirham (DH) with two decimal places, the centime, so a price of 12.50 DH prints exactly as the shelf label shows it.
Set the TVA rate for each product, choose tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing, and print the tax on receipts and A4 invoices.
Invoice data stays in one place, ready for the e-invoicing rules when they apply to your business. Any connection is scoped and configured on request, not promised in advance.
Record card payments and mobile wallet payments as separate methods. Split one bill across cash, card, wallet and customer credit.
Store the Arabic or French name of each product and print it on receipts. The software interface is in English.
Cashiers keep billing when the connection drops. Offline sales wait on the shop network and sync automatically when the internet returns.
Moroccan retail mixes long-established souks with modern supermarkets and a fast-growing number of convenience stores. In the medina of Marrakech, shoppers buy spices, leather, textiles and crafts, and prices are often negotiated. Casablanca is the commercial capital, with busy districts such as Maarif and Derb Ghallef, a large quarter known for wholesale trade across many categories. Newer neighbourhoods such as Ain Diab and Hay Hassani have supermarkets and boutiques. In Rabat, Agdal and Hay Riad are large residential and commercial districts.
Most neighbourhood shops, known as hanouts, sell daily goods, drinks and phone top-ups, and many keep a notebook of regular customers who pay at the end of the month. Customers pay in cash, by card through CMI payment terminals, and through mobile wallets. Owners want to know which items are running out, what each supplier is owed and which regulars owe money. Business customers also need clear invoices that show TVA.
Power and connection problems still occur in some areas, so the counter must keep working offline. A server PC with terminals on the shop network handles that, and owners can check sales from their phone.

Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI)
TVA reporting and planned e-invoicing
TVA and e-invoicing
Morocco applies TVA, the national value-added tax, which the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) administers. Businesses file TVA returns and keep records that support them. The DGI has announced plans to introduce electronic invoicing in phases. The scope, formats and dates can change, so confirm what applies to your business with the DGI or your accountant before you set up any tax connection.
AIFFICIENTO records TVA on every sale and purchase, and you can export sales, purchase and expense reports to CSV so your accountant can prepare TVA returns from clean data.
If your business needs an e-invoicing connection, open Settings, then Store, and use Request integration. Our team reviews the requirement and configures the connection for your registration.
AIFFICIENTO is not certified or approved by the DGI or any other Moroccan authority. A connection goes live only when your registration and the rules in force allow it.

Choosing a POS in Morocco
Moroccan shops choose between a basic cash register, a spreadsheet, a general accounting package, a retail POS with local tax support and, for larger chains, an ERP. Ask each vendor, in writing, how it handles TVA rates per product, how it prints French and Arabic names on receipts, and what its e-invoicing plan is. Test the software with your own products on a real counter for a full day. Check that it keeps working during a power or connection cut, that a new cashier can learn the counter quickly, and that you can export clean data for your accountant. Compare the total yearly cost, including hardware, printers, support and any setup fee, not just the monthly price. You can also review our plans and prices.
