Key takeaways
  • The Android app shows the dashboard, sales, stock lookup, products, customers, reports and Geto chat.
  • Connect by scanning the shop's QR code, from the shop Wi-Fi or remotely through the secure internet link.
  • Admins choose which roles may use mobile and how many simultaneous logins each role gets.
  • Signed-in devices can be reviewed, signed out or banned, and every action is recorded in the audit log.

An owner rarely stays at the counter all day. You might be at the wholesale market, at a supplier, at a family event or at home in the evening. A shop management app is only useful if it answers the questions you ask from the road: how much did we sell today, is the rice running low, who has an unpaid balance. The AIFFICIENTO mobile app is built for those checks. This guide shows how to connect it, what to check each day, and how to keep the shop secure when your phone is in your pocket.

What the app covers

The Android app gives you the dashboard, sales, stock lookup, products, customers, reports and a Geto chat on your phone. Your role decides which screens you can open. The app works with the same shop data as the desktop point of sale, so a sale shows up on the phone once it is saved on the shop's server.

iOS support is planned but not available yet. If your team uses iPhones, check the current status on the download page before you plan a rollout.

Connect in a few minutes

  1. Install the Android app on your phone.
  2. On the shop's desktop, show the QR code for the mobile app.
  3. Scan the code with the phone. If the code cannot be scanned, enter the server address instead.
  4. Sign in with your own user and PIN.

When the phone is on the shop Wi-Fi, it reaches the server directly. Away from the shop, the secure internet link lets the phone reach the shop without any router setup. That link is part of the optional cloud connection, so the shop needs an internet connection at its end as well. Your phone needs one too.

The morning check

Open the dashboard first. It shows today's sales against yesterday, profit, invoices, busy hours, the payment mix and customer dues. Read Geto's daily briefing, which points out the sales trend, items taking off, out-of-stock products and overdue customers.

If a number looks wrong, open the sales list for the period and look at the individual invoices before you assume something is broken. Checking the details takes two minutes and saves a phone call later.

Reading the dashboard without drowning in numbers

Start with two figures: sales today against yesterday, and profit. If both are in line, move on to the invoice count and the busy hours, which tell you whether the shop is quiet or whether the counter needs another person. Then look at the payment mix and the customer dues. Dues are the figure most likely to need a decision, so read them last and note the names that need a call.

Stock lookup on the go

Stock lookup is the most useful screen when you are walking the shop or talking to a customer who wants to know if something is available. Search the product by name, then check the quantity and the price. If an item is low, add it to the reorder list so it appears on the next order.

Use smart search on the desktop when you need to go from a product to a customer or an invoice quickly. The smart search feature is built for that jump.

Reports from your phone

The desktop has more than 40 reports, covering sales, profit, margins, products, categories, cashiers, hours, payment methods, stock valuation, dead stock and customer dues. Reports can be exported to CSV or printed. On the phone, you can open the reports your role allows. Ask for a report on your phone when you need a number, and export the full detail at the desktop when you need to share it.

Decide who can use the phone

Mobile access is controlled by the admin. The admin chooses which roles may use the mobile app, and how many simultaneous logins each role gets. Start with the owner and one manager. Add staff only where they need to check something from the floor, such as stock lookup. Fewer logins means fewer unknown devices.

Devices and sessions

Every signed-in device is visible in the app, with its IP address, version and recent activity. If you see a device you do not recognise, sign it out. If a device keeps coming back, ban the device or the IP address, and give a reason and an expiry. The audit log records who did what and when, which helps if a figure changes without an explanation.

If your phone is lost

  1. Sign out that phone's session as soon as you can.
  2. Ban the device if you cannot be sure the session is closed.
  3. Check the audit log for activity in the hours before you noticed the loss.
  4. Check the roles and permissions of the user whose phone was lost, and change anything that seems wrong.

Acting quickly matters more than doing everything at once. Sign out first, then investigate.

Security habits

  • Keep the phone locked with a screen lock, and use the idle auto-lock in the app.
  • Do not share a PIN, and do not let staff use the owner's phone to sign in.
  • Sign out on any shared or borrowed device.
  • Review the signed-in device list once a week.

What to expect

The Android app is available now, and iOS is planned. Remote access depends on an internet connection at both ends. Geto needs an internet connection and an AI allowance. Sales, stock and reports work through the shop's own server, so the day-to-day checks keep running as long as the shop network and the phone can reach it.

A short scenario

Picture an owner at a family event on a Saturday evening. From the phone she checks the day's sales against last Saturday, sees that the mobile category is up, and opens stock lookup to check two phone cases. One is low, so she adds it to the reorder list. She signs out an old tablet she does not use any more, then closes the app. Nothing needed the laptop.

To learn more about the app, read the mobile app page. When you are ready to connect your own phone, start the 30-day free trial. It needs no credit card and gives full access, so you can test the QR connection and the daily checks on your own shop. The pricing page lists the plans, including the number of users and counters for each one.

Show the shop's QR code from the desktop, scan it with the Android app, or enter the server address. Then sign in with your own user and PIN.
Can every staff member use the mobile app?
Not automatically. The admin chooses which roles may use mobile, and how many simultaneous logins each role gets.
Can I sign out a phone I no longer have?
Yes. Every signed-in device is listed with its details, and you can sign out any session. You can also ban a device or an IP address with a reason and an expiry.
